Sono sua amica da qualche anno, dopo che è venuta al mio matrimonio con il suo attuale marito (italiano) Stefano. In occasione del LFW ci siamo visti e grazie a lei ho potuto assistere ad una sfilata di moda in prima persona, da occhi nuovi e mai visti prima; Un nuovo punto di vista, un’immagine che non dimenticherò mai, per il suo fervore, rapidità, bellezza ed entusiasmo nel vivere quei momenti. Di aver visto e vissuto, grazie a Gemma, un lato della moda portato davanti a tutti noi dagli obbiettivi dei fotografi, delle interviste ai magazine nel backstage della sfilata, da coloro che ” sono ” la moda, che la incarnano attraverso la loro bellezza e presenza nel mondo della moda e dello spettacolo. Ho trascorso con Gemma una fantastica serata, una notte da sogno. Non la dimenticherò mai. Grazie mille Gemma!
I am her friend for a few years after she came to my marriage with her current husband (Italian). At the LFW we are having and thanks to her I could attend a fashion show in first person, from new eyes and never before seen; A new point of view, an image I will never forget, for his enthusiasm, speed, beauty and excitement to live those moments. To have seen and lived, thanks to Gemma, one side of fashion brought before all of us by objectives of the photographers, the magazine’s interviews on backstage of the fashion show, by those that “to be” fashion, that embody through their beauty and presence in the world of fashion and entertainment. I spent a great evening with Gemma, a dream night. I’ll never forget. Thank you Gemma!
Tutto è iniziato dal nostro arrivo nel backstage della sfilata, dove l’aria era frizzante, piena di entusiasmo e con persone che correvano per accorrere agli ultimi preparativi.
It all started after our arrival in the backstage of the fashion show, where the air was crisp, full of enthusiasm and people ran to rush the final preparations.
Champagne e macchine fotografiche, truccatori e phon caldi , modelle con bigodini in testa e così tante persone “addette ai lavori” che rendevano la stanza backstage calda e pronta “ad esplodere”. Subito Gemma è stata rapita per le foto di rito insieme alla stilsta Issa London e per concedere delle interviste ad alcuni magazine di moda.
Champagne and photo-cameras, makeup artists and hair dryer hot, models with hair-curler in your heads and so many people “involved in the work” that made the backstage room warm and ready “to explode”. Now Gemma is kidnapped for ritual photos along with Issa London fashion designer and to grant interviews to some of the fashion magazine.
Ci hanno accompagnate in passerella dove mi sono accomodata in seconda fila (wow!!), subito dietro a Gemma..con un biglietto con su scritto “reserved Francesca Bertini”. In un istante tantissimi fotografi hanno circondato Gemma, e iniziato a scattare talmente tante foto che i flash mi abbagliavano gli occhi. Tutti sembravano voler catturare ogni istante di Gemma, pronti a non farsi sfuggire un suo sorriso, sempre pronti a chiamarla! Io ho vissuto di riflesso tale momento , pieno di energia e fervore, sentendomi emozionata e in piccola parte e solo per una serata, parte della suo mondo e della sua celebrità.
We were accompanied on the catwalk, where I settled down in the second row (wow!!), Just behind Gemma .. with a slip saying “reserved Francesca Bertini.” In an instant, many photographers have surrounded Gemma, and started taking so many pictures that flash blinded me eyes. Everyone seemed to want to capture every moment of Gemma, ready not to miss her smile, always ready to call her! I experienced this moment of reflection, full of energy and enthusiasm, feeling me excited and a small part and only for these evening, part of her world and her celebrity.

La sfilata è stata incredibilmente bella e rapida. In soli 15 minuti la preparazione di mesi di lavoro, si sono consumate con intensità, a ritmo del passo grintoso delle modelle. La sfilata - dal titolo Trans-Siberian Express - ci ha portato in un viaggio da Mosca a Pechino. La Bambola russa che ha ispirato le preziose stampe della collezione di Issa, si alternavano, per l’attenzione, accanto a caftani ricamati di dragoni orientali e attillati kimono dalle forme maxi.
The show was incredibly nice and fast. In only 15 minutes preparation of months of work, are consumed with intensity, to the rhythm of the passage of gritty models. The show - titled Trans-Siberian Express - took us on a journey from Moscow to Beijing.
Russian doll inspired prints jostled for attention next to dragon-embroidered kaftans and a slinky kimono maxis.
Dopo la sfilata ci siamo spostate ad un party di amici di Gemma & Stefano.
Concludendo meravigliosamente questa serata fantstica, piena di emozioni!
